“Yay Will!”

As the week comes to a close and Will cleans out his desk, our lab took a moment to celebrate all the ways he’s made this place better. A few of us secretly planned a surprise going-away party to send him off in typical Seese Lab style. We played cards, shared donuts, and spent the afternoon laughing over fond memories that only come from hours of working side by side.

Will has been an incredible presence in the lab — not just for his dedication and hard work, but for the intelligence, kindness, and humor he brought every single day. His contributions will leave a lasting impact, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Though it’s hard to say goodbye, we’re incredibly proud and excited to watch Will take this next step in his journey at THE Ohio State University. We have no doubt he’s going to do remarkable things, and we’ll be cheering him on every step of the way. Best of luck, Will — you’ll always have a place here! Don’t be a stranger!
